HYDROTHERMAL STONES are grown on the basis of natural raw materials under the influence of high pressure (700-1400 atmospheres) and temperature (up to 1000 degrees). The chemical properties of hydrothermal stones and natural ones are identical! The difference can only be seen when carefully examined at high magnification. Such stones cost significantly less than their natural counterparts (with the exception of topaz), but their production is quite expensive and they are not cheap (unlike glass fakes).
